First experience with Nikon service

Some time ago I noticed a lot of oil specs on some images I had taken with my D800. I had only changed lenses a few times so the specs had to come from inside. I read on this forum that other had had the same problem with their D800 so I took it to the Service Centre in Dubai.
The answer I got there was quite surprising. According to Nikon this was not a problem with the D800 so the warranty would not cover it. I pointed out that it was a fact that oil specs were on my sensor, and if Nikon said something else they were wrong. I tried all kinds of logic, but it did not help. I said that Nikon Service Centres in other parts of the world fixed this for free, but it did not help. In the end I had to pay for the sensor cleaning.
I'm not very happy with the Grand Stores Service Centre here in Dubai, and I hope I do not have to go back there.
Just a little rant to start off the day
