Need for a DX 2,8 / 50 - 200 VR/OS?

Hi there,
I was just wondering if anybody else would like to have a DX 2,8 / 50 - 200 VR/OS lens?
I own a D300 and want to stay with DX for reasons of bulk, weight and also price. So far I own a Tokina 4,0/12-24, a Sigma 2,8/17-50 VC, a Tamron 70-300 VC and Nikon 1,8/35 and 1,8/50 primes.
As I enjoy the stabilized 2,8 standard zoom a lot I was wondering about getting a 2,8 tele zoom as well. I use my gear almost exclusively for private matters. Usage szenarios would trips with my little daughter (who is 2 years old) e.g. to the zoo or adventure playgrounds, an occasional wedding as an "additional" photographer, parties, travel and - if the travel destination allows for it - also wildlife.
So far I am not content with any of the choices:
Sigma DX 2,8/50-150 nice and small, but no OS and supposedly not top notch on the long end
Sigma DX 2,8/50-150 OS probably superb IQ, but rather large and heavy for the zoom range
Sigma 2,8/70-200 OS or Nikon 2,8/70-200 VR would deliver very good respectively superb IQ, but the zoom only starts at 70, which is a bit long on DX for my uses, as I know from owning the Tamron 70-300VC
So I would either love to have a:
smaller and lighter DX 2,8/50-150 VR/OS or a
DX 2,8/50-200 VR/OS that would work for both events and also close by wildlife in bad light
@all: Is this a wrong reasoning from my needs?
@Sigma/Nikon/Tamron: I am holding on to my money and wait for the lens
Best regards,
Matt
