I picked up a D800 this week and have come across this problem all week. If you mail focus on the eyes or your subject, you might find a reflection of yourself in the irises.
This might sound like a nic problem to have, but I might have to think twice about where I am standing if ever I pop off a protrait that I might want to print large.
And near in mind, this was taken with with the 135DC, which is hardly a state of the art lens. Taken with the 851.4G might have given away that I hadn't bothered to shave today.
It's strange that you never had this "problem" before. I've had it multiple times with a D3100 and a 50mm 1.8G. It actually looks cool most of the times, but I agree it might not be the best for large prints. Unless you want to change poses I would say that photoshopping it away is the best way to go.
