Will the new 7D be 150 MP?

Probably not, but the DPReview's review of the camera in the new Nokia 808 makes me think. If you haven't read the review, they taken a 40MP sensor and then combine the results from adjacent pixels to produce very good (for a P&S) images of 3MP to 8MP.

So I was thinking, maybe the next "big leap" for the 7D would be to use similar technology and a 150 MP sensor, to make amazing 30 MP images?

As I said at the start, probably not.
