m43 simple kit - choices, choices, choices

Sorry but a prime doesn't fit the bill. I need to be able to catch my kids near or far and cover zoo animals, landscapes and just about anything in between. I want to relax a bit when I'm travelling but I still need a camera which has better than P&S performance for other reasons as well.
