I'm planning on taking a 70-200/2.8 and 1DX to the fencing, diving and beach volleybal next week. A guy just posted a photo on Canon Rumours that he took from the stands in the fencing with a 5DIII and 300/4.0. I can't see why they would allow a 5DIII and not a 1DX - no difference in length...
