is a lens I use for travel assignments mainly because of weight limitations, but that said it a very fine lens, especially stopped down.
I have actually come to like it a lot.
A 300/2.8 would definitely be better, but giving up that one stop when wokring in remote areas was aneasy decision.
A few from a recent job a little further North:
(I have not got larger files from the job online unfortunately)
Easily a combo good enough for large print professional work.
Have you checked focus accuracy and the like?
