Is the D800 not for sport??

I am a kite surfer and love taking pictures of kitesurfers.
Usually the subject is between 70 to 150 meters away.

Here I used the D800 with Nikon 70-200 VR2 set to 200mm, ISO=200, F=2.8 at 1/1250. The surfer is about 100 meter away. You can see the original picture and cropped to 100%. (I have reduced the original file size from 11Mb to 1.2Mb to be able to load it.)

This is the big advantage of the fantastic resolution of the D800 for sport photography!
