I can follow very well your considerations!

What most of us would need for the Panasonic mFT-G-System ist a stabilized

12-60mm / f 2.8-4.0 midrange zoom of superior optical quality, which in the Olympus E-System has become a legendary bred-and-butter lens!

The new 12-50mm for the new Olympus OM-D is okay, but does not really match the demands for professional use and quality; and together with my Lumix GH2 it is not stabilized and for this reason no serious option for me.

I therefore continue to work with the Pana 14-140mm, which is e very useful landsacpe lens; in combination with the outstanding Pana 7-14mm / f 4.0 you get a reach from 7-140mm (resp. 14-280mm in FX)!
