Keep those primes and just pony up if you can and buy the 18-270.
I understand what you are wanting to do, try to avoid swapping lenses.
But, what's the point in a Dslr, if you are just going to use ONE lens?
I have an 18-270 as a walk around-don't want to lug the bag around
lens. But, I also have a 16-50 2.8 & a 70-300 in the bag. The 18-270
I have is the older one, no piezo motor version. It's pretty good between
around 30-150 for my use, but does have some softness at the extreme
end, along with some vignetting at the extreme end. Easy to correct pp,
but it is there.
