Keep those primes and just pony up if you can and buy the 18-270.
I understand what you are wanting to do, try to avoid swapping lenses.
But, what's the point in a Dslr, if you are just going to use ONE lens?
I have an 18-270 as a walk around-don't want to lug the bag around
lens. But, I also have a 16-50 2.8 & a 70-300 in the bag. The 18-270
I have is the older one, no piezo motor version. It's pretty good between
around 30-150 for my use, but does have some softness at the extreme
end, along with some vignetting at the extreme end. Easy to correct pp,
but it is there.
Coming to you from the beautiful Ozark Mountain Country
where if you're too busy to go fishin', then you're too busy!

You think I should change it to if you're too
busy to take photos, then you're too busy?
