Here we go again, new camera

Hello all,

I've had an XTi for years, but am thinking about an upgrade. The reason is that I would like to have video, a flip screen, more modern sensor, higher ISO to name a few lusts. Don't get me wrong, the old XTi has been and is still a nice camera, but would like to move up to something else, and maybe keeping the old beater for times when I don't want a nicer camera or with 2 different lenses. I know that money is best spent on lenses, but I have the reach from 18-300, so I can wait on buying another lens. What I'm considering is 60D, 600(T3i),(not willing to do the T4/650 as it's too newly out) or get the G1x) the compact, or even an older G12. The kind of photography I like is street(hence the swivel screen),and travel, hence the lighter bodies or the compact camera. I don't do sports so getting one of the bug guns(plus my wallet won't stretch) isn't necessary, plus don't need the fast fps. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance. Lepewhi
