Sony ACC - anyone using it for 3D?

Sony's ACC protocol can apparently be used for synchronizing
Sony's DSC cameras. I wonder if it could be used (stills
and video) for two RX-100s, has anyone experience with the
protocol (it's called LANC on Sony's camcorders).
