i feel 20% is too high but it depends on photographer to photographer as to what is considered a keeper.

For me when i visit any place the rule is simple, if i came back with 1 photo that is printable and could be hanged on wall , the trip was a success.

So far i had two big success based on this, one was when i visited mt fuji , i came back with enough good photos that i could have made half a book out of them and second was my last visit to taj where i had around 10 keepers that could be printed.

Usually 1-2 keepers is what i get.
