Travel suggestion about using non-photography backpack???

You can buy camera case inserts to put in you backpack, try googling B&H for instance or Andorama. I similarly adjusted a backpack I want to carry on holiday to accommodate my photo gear. However in my case I purchased some high density foam and then cut and shaped the insert myself as the aftermarket ones were too big for my particular backpack.
