d7000 with 18-55 & 50 F1.8 or the 18-105 ?

i got my d7000 at last and kept my 35mm f1.8 upgrading from the d40x , now i sold the d40x with it's lens the 18-55 II and now i'm searching for another standrad zoom lens so i thought i might getting the 18-105 , then i thought that i might get with the same price the 18-55 VR with the 50mm f1.8 D .. so what do you think i need your advice ? is there is huge difference between the 18-105 and the 18-55 rather than the longer zoom btw ?
