Nikon ViewNX2

Just curious to see opinions of Nikons ViewNX2 as a basic viewer. I know you get what you pay for and this is a free one.....I keep thinking that it is written by Nikon for Nikon, but that doesn't mean that it is worth the effort of learning. Thoughts?
