Samsung camera vertical blue line issue

I have had my Samsung WB500 camera for two years but today i found an issue with it. On the display there is a thin vertical blue line running down the display. The blue line is even seen on the photographs and videos I have taken with the WB500. What could be the problem. Please advise.
