Sony Should Send A Large Check To Sigma

Like many, I was vacillating between the NEX 7 and Fuji X Pro 1.
I appreciated the NEX body features and IQ.

At the same time I was put off by the price (both body and lenses) and operational issues associated with the Fuji.
OTOH, Fuji has some terrific primes with more to come. Sony...well, you know.

Paralyzed with indecision, I did nothing for months....until becoming aware of the Sigma wide and normal lenses.

I now have a NEX 7 and just two lenses, the Sigma 19 and 30. Quite pleased indeed. Good performance, light, rather small, very good value. The availability of these lenses caused me to immediately order a NEX 7.

I am guessing that I am hardly unique. No doubt this story has been and will be repeated many times.
