The word literally is used far too frequently these days.
I must be one of those language snobs as I have to correct people at work feel the need to use the word in a sentence every 2 minutes.
The word is not only annoying, but also confusing, as I have to figure out whether the person means 'nearly all' or 'it actually happened'.
If not used for the latter (the correct way), then the word 'practically' would make far more sense in my opinion.
Another bear-bug is the word 'really?' with the raise of eyebrow frown GGGRRRRRR!!!
