old thread

sorry bringing up some old thread; but then i'm really interested for wide angle lens/camera.

got fuji hs20, good wide enough, but can someone actually do some proper measuring of it's wide angle fov, ie. comparing it with a true proper 24mm lens on a chart with the same exact length/position and measure which is actually wider rather than proving it mathematically (i know, i have done my math too, and it's supposedly correct @ 22.7mm equiv. wide)

eventhough wide enough, sometimes just not good enough. tried for large trees & foliages and turn out most of the leaves are very blurry, especially off center even by a bit (tried f/5.6 and f/8 doesn't realy much improvement).

should i get a d700 & nikon 14-24?
