ISO 1600 ...

Well, because of the smaller sensor, it is really ISO 20,000 in 35-mm equivalent terms. The Toshiba sensor exhibits some fixed pattern noise at such high amplifications, unfortunately. It is something I can easily live with. The 808 PV shines at low ISO and at the wide angle end. The more you increase focal length or ISO, the more it looses its uniqueness wrt lesser cameras. That was to be expected.
