Do any of you folks own/want a mirrorless camera, and if so

Bought it mostly for the video performance, but it's quite acceptable for stills when I don't want to lug the D700.

I like it a lot for travel. I have the two pancake lenses -- the Panasonic 20mm 1.7 and 14mm 2.5.

I'm a big believer in keeping weight down so you're more likely to have a camera with you when you need it.

For real photography, I still prefer looking through that big full frame optical viewfinder that my D700 has. Maybe because I grew up mostly using film and the old Nikon FMs.

The great thing about the Micro 4/3 system is that there are two manufacturers making bodies and lenses -- Olympus and Panasonic, and you can mix and match as you see fit.
