Night shooting noise, Help!

You're using one of the Panasonic based sensor pen's. My E5 in long exposure has similar level of noise even with the dark frame subtraction turned on and a similar 4/3 sensor to yours. Once you've turned on the dark frame subtraction you've done all the right things to get less noise.

I use my Canon for long exposure night photography to avoid the problem.

I have not yet tried my EM5 for this. The sensor on the EM5 may behave entirely ok for longish exposures.

I usually use 30 sec range exposures at iso 800 for night photography with the F stop set to vary depending on exposure needs.
