Is MacMini server good enough

Hi all

I need to get a Mac Mini next 2 weeks and hopefully a new model might be released. But if not I am looking at the spec below

Mac Mini Quad core server
16Mb Ram
2 X 750 drives

I will connect to 30 inch Dell monitor and use Aperture and Phototshop 5 for editing. I work with RAW D700 files but will consider getting a D800 sometime next year.

Is this set up sufficient?

At present I use a dual core 2.0 Ghz Mac Pro which is kinda slowing down and take sup too much room. I do not perform any video editing.

Would appreciate any advice/suggestions. Budget and space is limited to Imac not possible unless refurb same price as macmini
