Capture NX2 / Aperture workflow on Mac

Hi,

I'm trying to streamline my workflow. I have a D90 shooting in RAW, the workflow currently is:

Import the pictures with Nikon Transfer 2
Batch fix Lens Distortion with Capture NX2
Save all as TIFF
Import project into Aperture or iPhoto
Edit if necessary

Not sure this is the ideal workflow to maintain the best quality picture?

Any tips?
