Is this sensor dust or something else?

After looking at some recent pictures I took, I see a lot of spots. Some look to be sensor dust but am not sure about the others, like those on the two pictures of the falls. I thought typical sensor dust was the little round spots but in the last two pictures, there are clearly visible "threads".
