Raw+JPEG transfer problem - no JPEGs appearing with Nikon Transer

Everything works nicely on Win XP on my laptop, but on my desktop with W7 Pro Nikon Transfer does not detect the camera, no matter what I tried. I also shoot Raw+JPeg, but I doubt it has any relation to my problem. Anybody else with such problem? Any ideas how to resolve it? I tried to re-install ViewNX2, did not help.
