I have the same setup for a 5DMkII, the largest lens is 70-200mm 2.8.
TVC-33 and BH-55 is a great tripod and ball head. Could not be happier. I also have the RRS tripod bag. Very well made. I recently got the RRS panning clamp for panos.
I'm a RRS fan. I've been to their shop several times in San Luis Obispo, CA. They have great personal service.
