I assume they pay you at your day job so your time as value to someone , even if it's not you or your photo clients.

Right now I just want to help with my gear costs and only take clients I can do in my free time so maybe I am acting as a part time pro
I'm not doing $50 craigslist shoots so my prices have my time calculated.
