My wife is perfectly happy with focal length (X100) but reliant upon me for any special menu inroads.

She is a pastmaster for blaming the subject (esp. humanoid) when things are less than perfect

baobob makes a valid comment where disability can be a problem to framing, then a zoom lens would be king.

If you are two handed menu searching should not be a problem, and then again, I don't need to delve too often so don't let that worry you too much.
