And just for your further enlightenment, the 14, which I own, is HUGE and VERY heavy, with an enormous front element that makes getting filters prohibitively expensive. The 15, by contrast, is teeny and light, with a very small front element.

14 = 455 grams (2 lbs) 77mm filter size vs 15mm = 212 grams (7.5 ounces) with a 49mm filter size. The 14 weighs more than 2 x 15's!

A B+W Polarizer at 77mm, for example, is over $80.00, for a cheap one, vs about $30.00 for the 15. A good PRO multicoated slim-line polarizer for the 14 is over $150.00, which is why I don't have one.

The 14 is a nice lens - the 15 is a great lens, IMHO.
