What is limiting you?

From reading discussion forums in this site, it is not difficult to draw a conclusion that equipment is important. There are more equipment forums than those dedicated to the photographic side. In fact, I often got the feeling that equipment dominates over photographic skills. So, I like to do a survey if readers agree or disagree with the following statement and why .

"Better photographic equipment (better sensor, faster lenses) allows one to take better picture than developing excellent photographic skills."

Obviously, there are no absolute right or wrong answers. And I don't disagree with the importance of equipment as I have been a "guinea pig" as in cases of K10, Kx, & K5 and fast primes & zooms.
