TG 310 buttons too small

Have been taking my TG 310 surf fishing with me and have become very annoyed with the camera and myself. Fingers can't manipulate the tiny buttons when they're wet and the surf is trying to claim me, and my brain can't figure out what is what by feel (fish a lot at night). Can anyone suggest another camera with better ergonomics for action use?
