Looks to come in black or white. APS-C 18MP with their DIGIC5 system. Hybrid PDAF/CDAF system as found in T4i. 22mm and 18-55mm lenses. Adapter EOS to M.

So they released a camera with practically no lenses, just one slow low quality zoom, and some unknown and not very useful 22mm.

Not too shabby... looks like competition for the 5n.

How do you figure? How is it exactly going to compete with 5N? And why not with NEX 7, or F3? Is 5N just mentioned arbitrary?

Smart to provide EOS lens compatibility.

No different than expensive NEX adapter for A lenses. Nothing smart about it, it's just a crutch very few people will find attractive.

Definitely targeting the "second" / "travel" camera market.

What market? There is no such marketing category. So far it looks like a better image quality and a lot more expensive P&S, which will probably flop similar to Nikon 1 unless they significantly improve the camera and release good lenses and keep the price lower.
