Different look of linear DNG in Picasa vs Adobe

My linear DNG output files from DxO Optics Pro looks quite different in Picasa&ACDSee vs Adobe. Since JPG output files of the same images look no different in all pieces of software and like DNG in Adobe, I guess that Picasa&ACDSee tweak linear DNG files somehow. To my taste, Picasa look is usually better. Anyone knows what makes Picasa look different and why is that?
