My RX100 is better than expected...

...as my pocket landscape camera. I normally use A900 for landscape shooting and have Olympus XZ-1 as pocket P&S (had S90, G12 before). I love my XZ-1 but always wanted more resolution, smaller form factor and better sensor dynamic. So I bought RX100 yesterday, I want to see if RX100 is worth twice the price of XZ-1. I will let pictures do the talking:

Couple night shots, long exposure, out of camera jpeg with dark area lifted. never before I can get this kind IQ from a compact, and it's only jpeg!

Daylight snapshot from my bathroom window (raining all day). This time I compared RX100 with XZ-1 and A900 fitted with Zeiss 24-70. I used f4.5 for both compact due to concerned of diffraction, aperture on Zeiss 24-70 was at f8.
