Confirmed, D800 LF problem cannot be fixed.

This morning after doing some leg work, I was given a choice of a full refund or an exchange. After thinking about it a few seconds, I said, I will take the exchange providing that I can test the camera and make my decision then, the reply was "deal". I mounted my 24-70mm lens on the new D800, went outside, took pictures with center, left and right focus sensors, I could not believe my eyes, all points were razor sharp.

Needless to say, I am now done testing for focus issues. I will now take real pictures.
