I don't like the RX100 autofocus. . .

I've found it faster than all my previous cameras. Although they were all CDAF - been a while since I've owned a PDAF camera. I feel quite confident in grabbing instant focus grab shots of moving subjects such as this:

All I've done here is cropped and saved. A lot of my test shots have been a quick, full AF press and the camera has focussed in time. Oh and yes, I set single spot center focus straight away and have face detection enabled.
