Here is hoping for the next generation

I have fallen in love....

I have fallen in love with the smaller foot print of the mirrorless cameras but want to step up a bit in IQ.

In my mind there are "issues" with each of the leading cameras in this space...

Oly omd - there is a lot to like but still not quite there
Fuji x pro1 - IQ is very nice, but shutter lag on a $1700 body, come on...
V1 - good but still not exactly there.

I am anticipating that the next generation should prove to be very interesting and may get me to sell off my D700 and assorted glass.

So, while I wait, not so patiently, I will continue to shoot the V1 and D700 when needed. Not complaining - I'm very thankful for the gear I have, just excited to see what tomorrow will hold for the mirrorless market.
