Results: Astrophotography with the D800E

Thx Robin. Yes, even with all the recommendations I got from you and the others in the other thread, I found myself experimenting. I found 2 min exposures to have too many stars or too "bright". I don't know if it's really stars or noise (this is even after in-camera long exposure noise reduction). So I settled for 1 min. I regret not trying lower ISO though...I found ISO3200 was fine from the LCD but never tried 1600.
