Is Magic Lantern worth it? (for still photos)

Hi all,

It looks like Magic Lantern will release a new stable version compatible with the 5D2 next week.

Is it worth installing it for still photos?

I use Manual Focus quite often (viewfinder with EG-S and when possible, live view - but not with exclusively MF lenses though - use it with 35L, 70-200 and Sigma 85mm).

I am curious to see how the focus features in Magic Lantern work (such as trap focus and peak focus)…

Is it safe to install it?
