It is fairly easy BUT be very careful when handling the focusing screen. Only use tweezers and only grab it from the protruding piece of plastic at the top. The screen is oh sooooo susceptible to scratches, even with the slightest touch of a metal object, and once that is done, you need to replace it. Fortunately, you can find a cheap replacement on E-Bay which I needed to get the first time I cleaned it because I was not careful enough and scratched it.
