EX2 RAW option

I sold my TL500 many months ago largely due to frustration with the (lack of) RAW functionality. All the restrictions with menu choices...things you can do, things you cannot do, things you do, which then prevents you from doing something else.

Do you all think they improved the new camera's functionality so that using RAW doesn't grey out so many options/features in the camera?
