Opening Nikon D800 RAW or NEF files

I found that CS5 was giving me error messages- RAW files from this camera not supported, or something to that effect- when I attempted to open D800 NEFs in CS5 despite having the latest version of ACR. I discovered that the problem was Nikon Transfer which does not support the D800. When I used ViewNX2 to transfer the files from my card onto my computer there was no problem opening them. I now use the transfer function in ViewNX2 as my sole method of uploading from my card to my computer, and all is well.
