yup. Definitely an adult osprey. Goshawk males have much shorter wings (relative to the body), a banded tail, a white rather than black eyestripe, and a mostly grey rather than white body. The wing proportions on an osprey are unlike any other raptor in North America or Europe - they need the extra lift to take off with wet feathers after diving into the water after a fish.
