I noticed That shot, metered against a bright sky (or a small jet with a bright sky as the background) could have used some positive exposure compensation to help lessen the noise. If you were worried about the shutter speed, it would have most likely been better to bump ISO up to 400 and overexpose by up to a full stop.

Not a criticism, just a tip.
