Yes, someone has already pointed that out, see above. Still possible though that the designs, or some part of the IP is licenced and fabricated by Panasonic.

Or maybe not - but if not Panasonic has done a good job getting very close to Sony's levels of performance.

True, I think both sensors are good, they have small differences, let's see now if the G5 sensor is a new one or an improved from the GH2 sensor, it is good that it is a fully digital sensor, they can control better the image quality, and I am thinking now that the GH3 will have another sensor with more megapixels, let's wait to know, and read the reviews when they come out
