Can this photo be improved?

I took this photo on a NYC subway in 2006 with a Nikon D70. I think it is a grainy and a little out of focus. Can something be done? I have PS CS6 and LR4, but I am just learning how to use them. Been snapping pics for a long time, but now I'm starting to actually get into it, if you know what I mean!
