C-8080: Grand-daddy of the XZ-1

A forum member recently reminded me that rather than lust after the newest thing, its important to appreciate what you´ve already got! In that respect, I need to look no further than the 8080. You just turn it on, take the picture and the rest is history

This pic was shot from our kitchen window - looking west towards the airport. I shot RAW. Then put the camera down. Went off and make a cup of tea. Called a couple of friends, checked the latest sports results, read Leo Tolstoy´s War & Peace from cover to cover, watched the film Ben Hur on TV.....and by the time I was done with all that, the camera was just finishing writing the RAW file to card.
