I feel I may have made a grave error

I just started getting into photography earlier this year, I was on a budget making the jump from point and shoot to DSLR. I have always wanted to do this as a hobby while taking small jobs on the side after mastering some of the craft. So what was the grave error? I purchased a 600D. I'm starting to regret this purchase because it's not considered a pro or even a semi pro camera, I feel like if I took any type of side job rather it be portraits or animal shots for people I'd be ripping them off using such a low end camera. I've been focused in investing in glass but I'm not sure how much that makes up for it. I think I should have just spent more money on credit and gotten a better camera. I really don't know what to do at this point. Just needed to vent as this has been on my mind the last few days.
